When a post is published or updated, this plugin will send a backup email to the administrator of the WordPress 
blog with an attachment file that contains the post in XML format. The XML follows the format used when WordPress 
exports blog contents so that it can be easily used to restore the post.
The general idea of this plugin is to never loose any of your posts. If you have scheduled a backup of your 
blog once a week, its possible that you will loose the new posts published during that last week. With this 
plugin you will have a backup of all your new published posts in your email account.

So what is the plugin? The name says it all really, this just adds a Save and Close button to all pages, posts and custom post types. We’ve done away with the click so no longer do you need to hit “Update” or “Publish” then click back your post/page listing. Save and Close will just take you right back to your list of posts! Simples!

Save and Close

Used to have Save & Close button in Joomla and was very frustrated, when none was found in Wordpress. This little plugin helped me restore my belief in humankind. Thank you!
P.S.: Works perfectly on WP 4.5.2 despite that it hasn't been updated for quite a while.
