<p>Notify All Admins on Comment solves this simple problem with a zero-configuration setup. Once activated, it sends a copy of the moderation email to every user with the ‘Administrator’ role, ensuring the entire team is aware of new comments instantly.</p>
<p>This plugin is lightweight, secure, and follows WordPress best practices.</p>
<p>⚠️ <strong>Important Requirement:</strong> This plugin relies on WordPress’s <code>wp_mail()</code> function to send email notifications.<br />
To work properly, your WordPress environment must have a <strong>working SMTP configuration</strong> or email delivery service (such as SendGrid, Mailgun, or a plugin like WP Mail SMTP).<br />
If SMTP is not properly configured or is blocked (common in development or staging environments), the plugin will not be able to send notifications. In such cases, WordPress’s default behavior (notifying only the main admin) will apply.</p>

I'm the developer of this plugin. I tested it on a live WordPress site with working email (SMTP), and it works as expected — all administrators get notified of new comments.

<p>There are A LOT of SMTP plugins for WordPress, some uses third-party libraries with no too much luck, others looks like the same plugin (almost identical source code) but with different name…</p>
<p>Most of them overwrites from address and from name fields ALWAYS, breaking functionality of some other plugins that send emails using wp_mail() function.</p>
<p>So the history repeats again, I can’t find one simple plugin that fits my needs, so I created one for myself and share it with you in the hope that you’ll find it useful.</p>

<p>It may work with older versions of PHP and WordPress (and it does in fact at the time of writing this), but I don’t support anything older than the versions mentioned above.</p>

<p>Just install in your WordPress like any other plugin, activate it and fill settings using your SMTP server details. If you’re not sure about what you need to put in each field, ask to your SMTP server support.</p>

SAR Friendly SMTP

It probably works fine, but I uninstalled it immediately after activating it because it clutters up the admin menu with a new top-level item, even though you only interact with it once.
