Plugin Output Cache can be used by other plugins to cache portions of their output for efficiency. By itself it does nothing but other plugins (like my own Similar Posts, Recent Posts, Recent Comments, and Random Posts) can be adapted to take advantage of its cache whenever available.

Hyper Cache is a cache plugin specifically written to get the maximum speed for your WordPress blog.
It can be used in low resources hosting as well on high end servers.
Hyper Cache is purely PHP and works on every blog: no complex configurations are needed and when you deactivate it no stale settings are left around.

You can further optimize the blog installing <a href="https://wordpress.org/plugins/autoptimize/" rel="ugc">Autoptimize</a> which cleans up the HTML, minifies and concatenates CSS and JavaScript.

Hyper Cache

Extremely easy to set up. KeyCdn support works and now I hope Stefano will come up with Preloaded Pages one day. 
I had bought Rocket Cache, Comet Cache Pro (f.. up my Multisite twice, they refuse to refund). 

 

Best Caching Plugin IHMO

Super fast, not overly complicated but with enough settings to customize for any set up. Most importantly: works like a charm on VPS!
