This plugin will let you manage your POEditor translations directly from WordPress via the POEditor API.
It will fetch all your projects from POEditor.com, based on your API KEY, and it will scan your /wp-content/ folder for gettext language files (.po and .pot). After this, you can assign files from your WordPress themes or plugins to your POEditor language files and you can import, export or sync your files with the POEditor translations.

<h3>Impact of Discontinuing Weglot</h3>
If you decide to stop using Weglot, your website will no longer be translated. All translations are stored on Weglot’s servers. However, you can export all your translations using our import/export feature before discontinuing the service to save your translations. I'm not an authority on translated text, but as far as I can see the automatic translation works well and we are also able to add our manual transitions where needed. Support is reliable, helpful and fast.

It does not have a free option, it gives only a free trial. You can easily reach their 2000 words limit. Maybe with 2-3 posts? Why are wordpress admins still keeping this plugin here? Lots of plugins here only offer a free trial or pro features and they keep advertising these plugins here. They can advertise their paid plugin on their website.

I hate to go against the reviews here, but support is not helpful.



I couldn't set up the plugin locally, provided the response from their API, they requested a video as well.

In fact, it is a really strange behavior because I tested the API key on a local test website I have (a .local one), and it is working perfectly.



Do you have another local website on which you could test it?




At this point I decided to self support myself. 



I can't help but think I lost my time speaking to a person who basically told me to reboot my machine, in IT terms. "Works on my local". That's great ... for this support person I guess.



I don't recommend this plugin if you run into issues that require support to think about the problem at  hand and not following a defined set of rules. Based on my experience you will lose time that could better be spent figuring it out by yourself.
