<p>This plugin provides the ability to migrate individual WordPress post data to another WordPress site.<br />
Specifically, it provides the following features that are not provided by the standard import and export tools provided by WordPress.<br />
1. The standard tool does not export images and other media data. Instead, the importer reads the image URL in the XML and attempts to re-download the file from a remote location. However, this requires that the import source site is public and the media file URL is accessible. If the site is local or private, the media download will fail and only an empty attachment post will be created.<br />
This plugin extracts images and other media data and WordPress database information and exports them together in a single ZIP file, eliminating such problems.<br />
2. The standard tool does not export revisions, but this plugin provides export and import functions.<br />
3. The standard tool allows you to select what to export for each post type, but not for each individual post.<br />

<h4>SiteGround Migrator: the easiest way to move your site to SiteGround</h4>
<p>This plugin is designed to automate the transfer of a WordPress instance to a SiteGround hosting account. It can’t be used to transfer a WordPress instance to another hosting provider.</p>
<p>Important: This solution is not suitable for migrating localhost WordPress sites or for Full Multisite installations (separate Multisite blogs are fine).</p>
<h4>How to Use</h4>
<p>First, you need to get a transfer token from your SiteGround account. You can do this through the WordPress Migrator tool located in the WordPress section of your SiteGround hosting control panel.</p>
<p>Once you select the domain name that you want to initiate the transfer for, our system will generate a transfer token for you.Paste the token in your SiteGround Migrator plugin and press Initiate Transfer. That’s all!</p>

With all other ISPs I will only set up Wordpress migrations manually - upload files, revise the DB to match the final url, upload data to the new home, update permalinks if necessary. Just recently I decided to give SiteGround's migration plugin a try. And ohmygosh is it simple and non-intrusive and perfect. Nice work, y'all.
