<p><strong>Google Tag Manager</strong> — allows you to add IDs into elements that do not have a special field for this. For example: Heading, Image etc. On the next step, you can create GTM Trigger and use this IDs to track events.</p>

Events Tracker for Elementor

So after spending a couple of hours with the Google Ads conversion tracking not working, I figured I would try something, just for fun. On the settings page in the WP Elementor area, you need to put the "AW-" in front of your Conversion ID number. Once I did that, cleared the cache, and it worked perfectly. A simple piece of documentation would have saved me (and others) a ton of time and hassle.
