Quicklink for WordPress attempts to make navigation to subsequent pages load faster. Embedded with the plugin is a javascript library, which detects links in the viewport, waits until the browser is idle and prefetches the URLs for these links. The library also tries to detect, if the user is on a slow connection or on a data plan.
This plugin builds heavily on the amazing work done by <a href="https://github.com/GoogleChromeLabs/quicklink" rel="nofollow ugc">Google Chrome Labs</a>.

<h4>How it works</h4>
<ul>
<li>Detects links within the viewport (using <a href="https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Intersection_Observer_API" rel="nofollow ugc">Intersection Observer</a>)</li>
<li>Waits until the browser is idle (using <a href="https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Window/requestIdleCallback" rel="nofollow ugc">requestIdleCallback</a>)</li>
<li>Checks if the user isn’t on a slow connection (using <code>navigator.connection.effectiveType</code>) or has data-saver enabled (using <code>navigator.connection.saveData</code>)</li>
<li>Prefetches URLs to the links (using <a href="https://www.w3.org/TR/resource-hints/#prefetch" rel="nofollow ugc"><code><link rel=prefetch></code></a> or XHR). Provides some control over the request priority (can switch to <code>fetch()</code> if supported).</li>

SM Fetch is built to make your website load blazing fast using Prefetch Algorithm. In order to make this plugin work perfectly, you need to :

<li>Have multiple pages in the website. But single page also work, as long as you have Button to link to other pages / website.</li>
<li>This plugin handle the front-end caching. If your current plugin is already handle that part, you can disable that function and use this plugin function to see the differences.</li>

<h3>How this plugin work?</h3>

<li>User visits a page.</li>
<li>In the background, the algorithm will prefetches other pages data.</li>
<li>When the user visits the next page, it will loads faster because it’s already downloaded.</li>
<li>The data will be stored at User browser (front-end). Not server (back-end).</li>
