This is a simple plugin that allows you to disable comments being submitted to your WordPress site, but still present the natural look of your theme’s comment form.
This plugin isn’t meant for the average WordPress user, but it’s great, for example, if you have a demo site for a WordPress theme. With this plugin activated, people visiting your demo site will be able to preview the look of the comment form of your theme; however, it will not allow anyone to submit a comment. This way, you don’t end up with a WordPress theme demo site with a thousand pending comments.

Quietly disable comments to avoid unwanted comment spam.

Spark is a work in progress and will serve as a future toolset for getting started with the <a href="http://wpjumpstart.com" rel="nofollow ugc">Jump Start WordPress Theme</a>.
Note: Because preset layouts and templates with Jump Start largely depend on <a href="https://wordpress.org/plugins/theme-blvd-layout-builder" rel="ugc">our layout builder</a>, development on Spark has been halted until after the release of WordPress 5.0 and the new content editor (a.k.a. Gutenberg).
So what is Spark, exactly?
Often, you just can’t have a jump-start without a spark. — Jump Start is a very powerful WordPress theme with a lot of possibilities. However, a big problem we’re trying to solve is the struggle to get started with all of these features.
With Spark, our goal is to provide more demo content, sample styles, preset layouts and individual sections, and better administrator features to quickly apply these starting points. However, by confining these things to to the Spark plugin, we can avoid a lot of extra bloat in the theme and provide customers a way to quickly enable or disable all of these extra features.
