<p>This is intended to be a simplified interface for non-technical users to propose <a href="https://radar.squat.net" rel="nofollow ugc">radar.squat.net</a> events using a specified group.<br />
As admin, you can configure a location and select a list of options for tags.<br />
The form can be displayed anywhere on your WordPress page by simply including the shortcode <code>[recevcr-event-creator]</code>.<br />
Events created with the form will be listed as proposals in your radar dashboard where you can moderate them.</p>
<h3>External Services</h3>
<p>This plugin uses the <a href="https://radar.squat.net/en/api" rel="nofollow ugc">radar API</a> to create events. The event data is submitted directly to the API, and no data is stored on the server.<br />
To be able to display a list of possible event locations and tags, the plugin makes requests to the <a href="https://radar.squat.net/en/api" rel="nofollow ugc">radar API</a>.</p>

<h4>Stack</h4>
<p>This project uses <a href="https://getcomposer.org/" rel="nofollow ugc">composer</a> for dependency management and <a href="https://doc.nette.org/en/forms" rel="nofollow ugc">Nette Forms</a> to handle form validation/submission logic, it uses <a href="https://twig.symfony.com/" rel="nofollow ugc">Twig</a> to make the form rendering more straightforward.</p>
<h4>Setup</h4>
<ol>
<li>There is a container setup including WordPress, MariaDB and phpMyAdmin for local development and testing. Simply <a href="https://docs.docker.com/engine/install/" rel="nofollow ugc">install docker</a> and run <code>docker compose up</code>. The containers will start up and give you access to the local instance.</li>
<li>On first boot you need to configure the WordPress installation when opening the url. If you messed something up and want a fresh start, simply remove the volume that contains the wordpress installation.</li>
<li>For the plugin to work, you need to install the necessary php libraries. Execute <code>docker compose exec -w /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/rec-event-creator wordpress composer install</code> while the docker setup is running.</li>
<li>The plugin code is mounted via volumes in the plugin directory of the WordPress installation. So it can be activated in the admin interface and every change in the repository code is directly available in the docker container.</li>
<li>Configure and use the plugin as described in the <em>usage</em> section.</li>

<h3>Translation</h3>
<p>Translations are done on <a href="https://translate.codeberg.org/projects/rec-event-creator/rec-event-creator/" rel="nofollow ugc">translate.codeberg.org</a>. Contributions are very welcome.</p>
