The readable JavaScript and CSS source files are included in the <code>src</code> directory. Build tooling and dependency versions are documented in <code>package.json</code> and <code>package-lock.json</code>. To rebuild the production assets, run <code>npm install</code> and then <code>npm run build</code>.

Bee Notes includes optional AI actions. When enabled, the plugin sends the note content, the selected action prompt, and the administrator-provided API key to the configured provider endpoint. These requests are made only after a logged-in note editor clicks an AI action.
