<p>This plugin adds cropping, resizing, and rotating functionality to WordPress’ image upload and management dialogs. Scissors also allows automatic resizing of images when they are uploaded and supports automatic and manual watermarking of images. Additionally, images that are resized in the post editor are automatically resampled to the requested size using bilinear filtering when a post is saved, which improves the perceived image quality while reducing the amount of data transferred at the same time.</p>
<p>Custom image size supported!</p>
<p>Check settings of this plugin after activation. Watermarking function must be set before using!</p>
<p>Please note that WordPress versions 3.4.2 and older are not supported!</p>

<h4>Delete thumbnails & resized images from your Media Library</h4>
<ul>
<li>Delete some or all of WordPress’s resized images (thumbnails, medium, and large, plus extra ones Plugins/Themes make secretly)</li>
<li>This can clear thousands of unwanted files from your uploads directory </li>
<li>Useful if you’ve had lots of different theme/plugins over the years, and inadvertently accumulated a vast number of resized images that are no longer used by your site</li>
</ul>

<li>You can use <a href="https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/" rel="ugc">this plugin</a> to regenerate your Media Library after (as WordPress will need the default sizes)</li>
