Modula Image Gallery – Photo Grid & Video Gallery


Modula give a lot in their free plugin. I use it on many sites.  It's easy to use, and includes all the features you might need in a simple gallery.  The images do have to be located in the WordPress media library.  Increasingly I want to host images outside of the media library and so may have to look for an alternative solution.   But if you're happy with the media library this is a great plugin.

Modula is hands down the best WordPress gallery plugin I’ve used. It’s super easy to set up, looks amazing, and loads fast without slowing down my site. I love how flexible the layouts are, and the hover effects and lightbox features add a nice touch. Plus, it works perfectly on mobile.
