Use your Website as a free and simple social media tool for a maximum of 5 Zapier Webhooks.

Just like for standard posts you got a separate section in the WordPress admin for Simple Postings including categories and tags. 
The only difference is that you can select an Alt-Tag and the social media channels (Zapier webhooks) where you want it to be sent.
Like scheduling a standard post you can schedule your Posting for a specific date. 
As soon as you hit the Planning-Button the Posting gets sent to every activated webhook which schedules your data in Buffer for example.
Every Posting consists of a title, a text, a featured image and an Alt-Tag for this image. No videos possible.
Tipp: After scheduling a Posting you can replan it for another date and reuse it.

Blog2Social: Social Media Auto Post & Scheduler

Don't get me wrong, it is a great plugin! You can automatically post in FB groups and stuff. But if you are one lucky soul that understands how to do personal marketing (by your personal profile), you want to automatically post with your normal profile. And this doesn't work anymore due to Facebook's anti spam restrictions. You can (however) manually share external posts with the plugin. This is done semi-automatic (you have to invoke it by yourself, though you will be reminded). So this means you have to create a wordpress site and share it. I'm sure this goes way better, i.e.: You can create posts in Blog2Social that will be posted automatically (like in LinkedIn for example). Why is there no choice to automatically make a WordPress post out of it and let it share in your personal chronic in Facebook? I mean... duh?! ;) That would make things much more easy, eventually there are people out there that would even pay for that.

The title of the plugin says it's an autoposter. You have to pay for this functionality.

Habe mir das Plugin besorgt, um nur 1 x einen Beitrag zu schreiben und den auf die verschiedenen Social-Media-Plattformen zu verteilen.Das Plugin ist einfach zu bedienen und macht genau, was ich erwartet habe.

Tried, but do not work at all here


I paid for premium to get auto-posting so I can save time on posting to each social media platform individually, but the app still doesn't work as expected and I still spend more time than needed finagling with the plugin to get it to work how I want. Even though the app says you can autopost from other plugins, it doesn't (I use Postie and Jetpack mobile app) unless you login to the Wordpress site itself and hit "Save" on the post. What's the point? It doesn't autopost to Facebook Profiles, all it does is open a new window to facebook.com for you to copy and paste the text of your post yourself. Sometimes I get an error when autoposting to Instagram and the post doesn't get posted. You can create templates to organize how you want the post to display on the other platforms, but it doesn't carry over for example on Facebook, Tumblr and Medium. 



There's just all kinds of bugs with this plugin, so your mileage may vary. I'm giving it 2 stars because it does autopost more consistently if you're posting directly from your Wordpress desktop site, but it fails hard when trying to use mobile with Postie or Jetpack and it's 100% fail with Facebook Profiles. Also it fails at being able to post to specific networks per post, unless you pay more by upgrading to Pro (I currently have Premium Smart because this is just a personal site and a Pro account will be overkill) to get Network Collections. Foh. Not worth it.

It would be nice if the authors add the Post Template feature to the Free version.
