<a href="https://www.indexnow.org/" rel="nofollow ugc">IndexNow</a> is a simple way of notifying search engines of updates to URLs on a site.
IndexNow allows website owners to submit a request to search engines to prioritize the crawling of a particular page or blog post on your site.
This plugin provides a no-fuss, simple alternative to just submit updates to the search engines.
Crawl requests will be sent to search engines when:
<ul>
<li>new content is published</li>
<li>existing content is updated</li>
<li>existing content is unpublished (this encourages de-indexing)</li>
<li>the post slug changes (both the old and new are sent index the redirect URL)</li>
</ul>
De-indexed and redirect URLs are only sent to IndexNow once.

Simple Search Submission for IndexNow submits the update requests as you save your content. If you wish to submit the URLs asynchronously via a cron job, you can include the code <code>add_filter( 'simple_search_submission_notify_async', '__return_true' );</code> in your theme or or plugin.

Once installed, the plugin will automatically generate and host the API key on your site. It detects page creation/update/ deletion in WordPress and automatically submits the URLs in the background. It works as expected, but I noticed that main.6b93cffc.js is constantly reloading. This is slowing down the WordPress dashboard significantly. It would be great if this could be optimized!


Works well, but has a small loading issue


I see a large percentage of reviews that say the plugin is crap or doesn't work... I am not affiliated with anything Bing and somewhat loathe MS as a rule but, this plugin does everything it says it does, and I love the efficiency of how it auto-post post. Wish GSC was this easy to push URLs.
