<p>But the Skype protocol is not whitelisted in WordPress, and URL beginning by <strong>skype</strong> is stripped by WordPress.</p>
<p>This plugin is adding the <strong>skype</strong> protocol to the whitelist. It’s based on the code provided by <a href="https://sevenspark.com/tutorials/skype-uri-link-wordpress-menu" rel="nofollow ugc">Chris from sevenspark.com</a></p>
