As content provider, you are allowed to upload your videos and get a revenue share on your video views. 
As publisher, you are allowed to get the HTML snippet code for embedding the video player in your site pages and get a revenue share on video views too.
This WordPress plugin is a tool useful to publishers for automatically embedding HTML snippet code into wordpress pages during editing with no need to copy/paste snippet code from smiling video platform to WordPress page editor.
The plugin is based on a Web Service API provided by https://platform.smiling.video. Such API suggests a list of video related to the current article content. The only mandatory property is the article title.
<h3>Plugin Configuration</h3>
<ul>
<li>after install you have a new menu item called “Smiling Video”</li>
<li>in such window, fill in username (“Smiling Video User”) and password (“Smiling Video Password”) fields.</li>
<li>press “Salva le modifiche” to save them</li>
</ul>
<h3>Plugin usage</h3>
<ul>
<li>go to WordPress page editor</li>
<li>fill in page title (i.e. “Star Wars”)</li>
<li>press button “Smiling Video”</li>
<li>a window containing the gallery of suggested videos will appear</li>
<li>press “inserisci codice” to select one of them</li>
<li>a code snippet marked between [smiling_video] and [/smiling_video] will appear. Do not change it.</li>
<li>continue editing the page adding article text or other videos</li>
<li>save the page and publish it</li>
<li>you will see the video player showing the selected video preview </li>
</ul>

Featured Videos work like Featured Images, just smoother: Paste a video URL into the designated new box on the post edit screen and the video will be displayed in place of a post image.
There are three ways to get the videos onto your page:

<li>Automagically! If your theme makes use of WordPress’ native <a href="https://codex.wordpress.org/Post_Thumbnails" rel="nofollow ugc">featured image functionality</a> you are set: Automatic insertion, lazy loading or lightbox overlays, its your choice. If this does not work you can either</li>
<li>insert the <code>[featured-video-plus]</code>–Shortcode in your posts or</li>
<li>manually make use of the PHP-functions in your theme’s source files.</li>

There is a button in the sidebar to switch between the different featured video display modes: <a href="http://yrnxt.com/wordpress/featured-video-plus/?setfvpmode=replace" rel="nofollow ugc">Automatic</a>, <a href="http://yrnxt.com/wordpress/featured-video-plus/?setfvpmode=dynamic" rel="nofollow ugc">lazy</a> and <a href="http://yrnxt.com/wordpress/featured-video-plus/?setfvpmode=overlay" rel="nofollow ugc">overlay</a>.
Besides Local Videos you can use videos from a whole lot of external providers like YouTube, Vimeo and Dailymotion. SoundCloud and Spotify (including playlists) are supported as well. Check the <a href="https://codex.wordpress.org/Embeds#Okay.2C_So_What_Sites_Can_I_Embed_From.3F" rel="nofollow ugc">WordPress Codex</a> for a complete list. If some provider is not listed you can always just use an embed code or whatever HTML you like.
After installing the plugin check your site’s Media Settings (<code>Settings -> Media</code> in the administration interface): The plugin adds quite some little helper options there. Change to lazy or overlay mode, tweak video sizing, individualize the look of the most prominent providers’ video players and turn on autoplay or video looping. By default videos try to dynamically fit their parent containers width and adjust their size responsively.
