<h3>Share an individual sermon</h3>
<ol>
<li>Copy the URL from your sermon on sermons.faithlife.com, eg: <a href="https://sermons.faithlife.com/sermons/245351-this-is-my-commandment" rel="nofollow ugc">https://sermons.faithlife.com/sermons/245351-this-is-my-commandment</a></li>
<li>Edit the post or page where you want to embed the sermon.</li>
<li>Paste the URL on a line by itself in the editor or as the URL of an <em>Embed</em> block</li>
<li>Presto! The URL will turn into an embedded player for your sermon.</li>
</ol>
<h3>Share a profile</h3>
<ol>
<li>Copy the URL of your Faithlife Sermons profile page</li>
<li>Edit the post or page where you want to embed the profile</li>
<li>Paste the URL on a line by itself in the editor or as the URL of an <em>Embed</em> block</li>
<li>Another presto! Your URL will turn into the most recent sermons playlist.</li>

<h3>Share a series</h3>

<li>Copy the URL of the series page</li>
<li>Edit the post or page where you want to embed the sermon series</li>

<h3>Settings</h3>
<p>The plugin settings page under <em>Settings->SoundFaith Embed</em> contains the same settings available under the “Embed” dialog on SoundFaith.com</p>

<h4>What it does</h4>
<p>It provides post types, taxonomies and fields for <em>sermons</em>, <em>events</em>, <em>people</em> and <em>locations</em> to be shown by a compatible church WordPress theme.</p>
<p>Experienced WordPress developers agree that functionality like this does not belong in themes since themes are intended only for controlling the appearance of a WordPress site. Content that users might expect to take with them if they switch themes should “live” in a plugin in order to <a href="https://churchthemes.com/wordpress-theme-users-avoid-lock-in-effect/" rel="nofollow ugc">avoid theme lock-in</a>. Similarly, our approach is not to present content using the plugin since themes offer more control for that purpose. This is why a <strong>compatible theme is required</strong>.</p>
