When working on themes and plugins you often notice a piece of text that appears hardcoded into the files, you need to modify it, but you don’t know what theme or plugin it’s in, and certainly not which individual file to look in.
Easily search through your themes, plugins or even WordPress core and be presented with a list of files, the matched text and what line of the file matched your search. 
You can then quickly make edits directly in your browser by clicking the link from the search results.
By default a consistency check is performed when making edits to files, this will look for inconsistencies with braces, brackets and parenthesis that are often accidentally left in. 
This drastically reduces the risk of breaking your site when making edits, but is in no way an absolute guarantee.
Create a replica of your live site a.k.a – <a href="https://wordpress.org/plugins/instawp-connect" rel="ugc">WordPress Staging</a> site before testing substitutions.

<a href="https://jesselau.com/wordpress-plugin-find-and-replace-text/" rel="nofollow ugc">Find And Replace Text</a> plugin allows you to install a find & replace button to your WordPress Editor.
It supports batch finding and replacing string when you edit your posts either in TinyMCE visual or text mode.
Please note the plugin in TinyMCE visual mode also find and replace string in raw file. Which means that you should make sure there are not HTML tag to find and replace.
For example, if you find and replace “href” to “something else” in Visual mode. The plugin also change every “href” to “something else” if the HTML codes have links with “href” even you can not see the “href” string on the visual mode screen.
So please make sure that you are not replacing HTML tags in Visual mode. Or you can start from Text mode.
Remember saving your post before your find and replace anything. So even you make something mess you can always get revisions back.
