<p>Text Control will allow you to choose from a variety of formatting syntaxes and encoding options. You can choose between Markdown, Textile 1, Textile 2, nl2br, WPautop, and “No Formatting” for formatting along with the choice of SmartyPants, WPTexturize or “No Encoding” for character encodings.</p>

<p>Not really a bug so much, but an issue: Textile 2 is freaking huge (145k > 4000 lines of code) so it can be quite a burden on your server. If you can get away with <em>not</em> using it, I highly reccomend you do so.</p>

<p>Additionally, in Textile 2 there is a feature that would grab an image via PHP and get it’s height and width for placing in the IMG tags. This has been disabled It literally took a post from 1 second to display straight to 6 seconds — completely unacceptable.</p>

<p><a href="http://www.ioncube.com" rel="nofollow ugc">ionCube encoder</a> is an established industry standard solution for PHP encoding. In order to run encrypted files on your webserver, it has have ionCube encoders installed. This plugin checks if this is true and if not, you are given a guidance through the official loader wizard which determines what exactly has to be installed on your server on how this can be achieved (if you are not admin of your webserver, you are given instructions which you can easily forward to your admin).</p>
