<p>Twitter + Widget = Twidger</p>
<p>Here’s a small WordPress plugin that allows you to display messages with usernames and avatars from a Twitter search results. An easy way to display the latest tweets containing specific keywords or usernames.</p>
<p>This plugin reuses code from Antonio “Woork” Lupetti (<a href="http://woork.blogspot.com/2009/06/simple-php-twitter-search-ready-to-use.html" rel="nofollow ugc">Simple PHP Twitter Search ready to use in your web projects</a>), Ryan Faerman (<a href="http://ryanfaerman.com/twittersearch/" rel="nofollow ugc">PHP Twitter Search API</a>) and <a href="http://davidbillingham.name" rel="nofollow ugc">David Billingham</a>.</p>
<p>This plugin requires <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CURL" rel="nofollow ugc">cURL</a> to be running on the server. I am NOT a programmer, if you want to fix things, suit yourself. Special thanks to <a href="http://mboivin.com" rel="nofollow ugc">Marc Boivin</a>.</p>

<p>HL Twitter lets you display your tweets as a widget in your sidebar or even browse your entire Twitter history right on your blog. But it also does a whole lot more. You can track multiple Twitter accounts and store all of the tweets on your blog indefinitely (currently Twitter only keep your 3,200 most recent tweets) as well as pulling in any tweets that you reply to for future reference. You can then tweet from your Dashboard or have HL Twitter automatically tweet your new posts with a customisable message.</p>
