This is an alt text modification plugin. It will take all empty alt tags and create a tag based upon the page they are attached to. This is best used when you have properly named files or have loaded images into the library in bulk.

This plugin searches for all images within the library which are missing alt-text attributes. The alt text will be chosen from page or post title elements if the image is attached to a page or post. Otherwise, file name will be used as the alt-text attribute of unattached images in media library.
The purpose is to help describe those images as best as possible for interpretation by search bots. Moreover, after updating, the plugin creates a file which lists all the images that was found to be missing alt-text attribute and then updated with alt-text. This will allow you to then tweak where necessary.

	The plugin is concatenating the terms into the alt tag when it's multiple words. So "red dog" becomes "reddog".
	A whitelist/blacklist terms feature would be great so that you could skip images with filenames like "screenshot".
	An ajax edit option would be great on the output list of media that's been updated.
	The plugin stalled on a large site that I tested it on, never getting past "Loading...". Would be worth it to chunk the output by media ID.




Lots of Potential

Could definitely use some improvements through an update.

The good part, it updates your empty alt tags.

The bad parts: the list it generates isn't clickable so you still have to go search for the images to tweak their content, the alt tags often have spaces removed, so a post titled "My Summer Vacation" seems to throw "mysummervacation" onto associated images as the alt text, and finally, instead of placing this in Settings or Tools (like the screenshot shows), it adds a whole new "Maui Marketing" area to navigation bar in WordPress, which is unnecessary.

Creating a new attribute group 
Users can go to Products >> Attribute Groups >> Add new, enter a name, slug, some description & then choose attribute(s) to add to the group.
Drag & drop to rearrange 
The attribute(s) will be displayed in the order shown in Products >> Attribute Groups.
Automatically arrange custom attributes 
Attributes you can group are the global ones created under Products >> Attributes. Attributes added from the Attributes tab of single product pages are considered custom attributes and will be displayed under the “Other” group.
Work with any product type 
Not just variable products can have attributes, any product type can have specified attributes. Attribute groups can apply to even special product types such as Smart Bundles (from WPC Product Bundles), Smart Composite (from WPC Composite Products) and Smart Grouped (from WPC Grouped Product). When attributes are added to these product types, they will be grouped as other common types.
Applicable products 
This is probably the most outstanding feature of the WPC Smart Attribute Group plugin. Users can configure applicable sources for each attribute group to make sure the attributes match with the actual properties of products to avoid possible confusions for customers.
The sources are varying and comprehensive: all products, product tags, categories, brands (from WPC Brands), collections (from WPC Smart Product Collections), shipping classes, attributes, etc.
Swiftly add attributes from groups 
After creating attribute groups, users can also add all assigned attributes from these groups to products in the Attributes tab of single product pages.
It’s easy: just choose a group name from the drop-down then click on the Add button. Our plugin will automatically detect attributes that are already available and only complement the unavailable ones from the group precisely to the products.
