autometa’s URLUG is a simple plugin that uses the following shortcodes:

<li><code>[urlug]</code> = to reproduce the URL slug;</li>
<li><code>[urlink]</code> = to reproduce the URL permalink;</li>
<li><code>[urlinked]</code> = to reproduce the URL link.</li>

It reproduces slugs, permalinks and links in posts, portfolios or products simply via: [urlug] and [urlink] and [urlinked].

When this plugin is activated and the title of a post or page is changed, the permalink (slug) of the post or page is automatically updated to reflect the new title. There is an option to disable this functionality on a one-time basis when saving.
