<h4>Fallback for unsupported plugins</h4>
<p>For plugins without a built-in integration, a fallback check catches sign-ups from any other form on your site. It only runs when someone submits a form, so it won’t slow down your dashboard or background tasks. You can turn it off under Settings <span aria-hidden="true" class="wp-exclude-emoji">→</span> UserCheck <span aria-hidden="true" class="wp-exclude-emoji">→</span> Coverage.</p>
<h4>Choose what to block</h4>
<p>Pick which kinds of email addresses get blocked: domains that can’t receive email, disposable addresses, public providers (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.), forwarding services that hide the real address, and known spammers. Domains on your UserCheck account blocklist are always blocked.</p>
<h4>Lightweight by design</h4>
<p>Emails are checked only when users submit a form (registration, comment, checkout) — never re-checked for existing users or orders. No background scans, no surprises.</p>
<h4>Resilient by design</h4>
<p>If our service is ever down or slow, your site keeps working: sign-ups go through and the error is logged for review. Each request times out after 2 seconds, so an unresponsive API can’t hold up your forms.</p>

<h4>Extensible</h4>
<p>Developers can plug UserCheck into any plugin’s validation hook by calling <code>UserCheck::instance()->evaluate_email( $email )</code> and acting on the returned <code>action</code>, <code>reason</code>, and <code>message</code>.</p>

<h3>Privacy Policy</h3>
<p>The plugin sends the email address (or just its domain, depending on your settings) to the UserCheck API for validation. The request User-Agent identifies the plugin version, WordPress version, site URL, and which integration triggered the check (e.g. <code>wp_registration</code>, <code>wc_checkout</code>, or <code>fallback_is_email/<plugin-slug></code> when the fallback fires for an unsupported plugin). No other end-user data is sent. <p>Setting up is easy:</p>

<li>Enable Identibyte validation on any Contact Form 7 email tag.</li>

<p>You can use Identibyte for Contact Form 7 completely free without an<br />
Identibyte account and make 20 “checks” per hour. If you need more<br />
checks, you just need to sign up for Identibyte and create a free or<br />
upgraded API token. Learn more below.</p>
<h4>How it works</h4>
<p>When you have Identibyte for Contact Form 7 installed and activated,<br />
Identibyte will validate the <code>[email]</code> tags in your Contact Form 7<br />
forms. All you need to do is add the <code>identibyte:true</code> option to any<br />
    [email] or <code>[email*]</code> tag.</p>
<p>For example, like this: <code>[email* your-email identibyte:true]</code></p>
<p>When the form is submitted, Identibyte will check if the email is a<br />
<strong>disposable email address</strong>. Identibyte has custom technology and<br />
processes for discovering and keeping a highly up-to-date blacklist of<br />
disposable email providers.</p>
<p>And that’s it! Now your signup forms are intelligent and can detect<br />
and block users signing up or submitting information that have a<br />
disposable email address.</p>

<h4>Adding an API token</h4>
<p>If you need to make more than 20 API requests an hour, you can<br />
[sign up for an Identibyte account]((https://identibyte.com/signup)<br />
and <a href="https://identibyte.com/dashboard/tokens" rel="nofollow ugc">create an API token</a>.<br />
Once you have a token, enter it the Identibyte plugin’s admin settings<br />
page.</p>
<p>After the 20 checks per hour are exhausted, if you haven’t entered an<br />
API token, Identibyte will be bypassed and will not fail the form<br />
submission validation.</p>
<h4>What you need to know</h4>
<p>Identibyte for Contact Form 7 relies on making HTTP requests to the<br />
<a href="https://identibyte.com" rel="nofollow ugc">Identibyte API</a>. API calls are made when a<br />
Contact Form 7 form is submitted, for every field that has the<br />
    identibyte:true option.</p>
