Video Thumbnailer for Elementor is a simple add-on plugin for Elementor, pulling in the thumbnails for any YouTube or Vimeo videos embedded into pages or posts via Elementor.
The plugin removes the need to manually select and add a thumbnail image in Elementor when adding a video. Instead, the plugin will automatically pull in the image that has been set as the thumbnail on either YouTube or Vimeo.
It performs two main tasks:

Find any videos that have the image overlay set to show, but do not have an image set, and it resets the media field for the image back to default instead of being blank.
</li>
<li>
Add a switch in the image overlay section of videos in the Elementor editor called ‘Auto Thumbnail’. If it is switched on, and the video is from Vimeo or YouTube, the thumbnail is pulled in automatically on the frontend for that video. If a thumbnail is set for that video in Elementor, it will be ignored if ‘Auto Thumbnail’ is on.

Workbox Video from Vimeo & Youtube Plugin

In workbox-video-from-vimeo-youtube-plugin/workbox_video.php there is a line of PHP that enqueues jQuery externally from ajax.googleapis.com with a static unsecured (HTTP) URL.
wp_enqueue_script('jquery', '//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.7.2/jquery.min.js');
I'm not sure that it's the best practice to include external jQuery libraries when WordPress already include the core jQuery files internally. Regardless, this link breaks the SSL certificate on my site because of a "Mixed Content" error. I fixed this by simply removing the "http:" from the link so that it will dynamically switch from HTTP to HTTPS depending on the URL used to render my site. This may not be the most comprehensive solution, and it is still loading this resource externally when an internal reference might be smarter, but this was my quick fix:

Please fix this in the next release so that I can download your updates without breaking my site again!
