Void Woo Cart Restrictor lets you restrict a certain type of category products to the only defined user role. It will make the selected category product completely non purchasable other than the chosen user role. It will show a notice saying that user need to login before they can buy the product. User will also be redirected to the product that the user was browsing after successfully logging in.
After installation Void Woo Cart Restrictor will add a submenu ‘Void Woo Cart Restrictor’ Under Settings. It will also add a checkbox field saying ‘Restrict this category?’
Product > Categories > Restrict this category
Note: This plugin is an addon of WooCommerce (https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce/) and will only work with WooCommerce installed.

Workflow:
<ol>
<li>Activate the plugin.</li>
<li>Browse Product > Categories > Dummy Category > check the Restrict this category box to restrict this product category.</li>
<li>Browse Settings > Void Woo Cart Restrictor > check the roles for which you would like the product of restricted category to show up only. i.e I choose for Customer role</li>

Works like a charm. If the following 2 things are added, this plugin will deserve 5 stars, hands down !

1. When a user is been restricted from buying from a certain category, and is logged in with credentials that are blocked from buying from that specific category, the message says, "you must be logged in to purchase". Well, in reality the user is already signed in. The generic message should be "you must be logged in with the correct credentials to purchase the item". This is just wording, it should take a few seconds to edit the wording.

2. The second suggestion, is probably some simple CSS settings that need to be applied, and can be out of the box, or be added to the settings screen. When an item is restricted from purchase, always the price and the different variations are shown. In many cases, I'm guessing especially with wholesale prices, these would preferably not be publicly shown. In this case, only wholesalers should be able to see the prices, and maybe even the variations. At least the few wholesaler clients that I have, all of them don't want to display their wholesale prices publicly.

This plugin excels in giving you full control over the visibility of your a post. By default, any post you add to your WordPress blog will become the topmost post, and will show up immediately on the front page in the first position, and similarly in category/tag/archive pages.
In particular, this plugin allows you to control the visibility of a post in various different views:
<ul>
<li>The Front Page (Homepage, depending on your theme, this may not be relevant)</li>
<li>The Category Page (listing the posts belonging to a category)</li>
<li>The Tag Page (listing the posts tagged with a given tag)</li>
<li>The Authors Page (listing the posts belonging to an author)</li>
<li>The Archive Pages (listing the posts belonging to time period: month, week, day, etc..)</li>
<li>The Search Results</li>
<li>Feeds</li>
</ul>
For a WordPress page, this plugin also allows you to control the visibility with two options:
<ul>
<li>Hide a page on the front page (homepage) only.</li>
<li>Hide a page everywhere in the blog (hiding the page in the search results is optional).</li>
</ul>
This means, technically, whenever pages are listed somewhere using the <code>get_pages</code> filter, this plugin will kick in and either filter it out or not according to the options you choose. The same rules apply regarding permalinks and sitemaps as they do for regular posts.
