<p>Have you ever wanted to give away vouchers, tickets, coupons or tokens on your website? If so this plugin is for you. You can create a voucher with whatever text you want, choosing the layout and font from a range of templates (you can also add your own templates). Vouchers can then be viewed, downloaded and printed from a specified URL.</p>
<p>There are shortcodes to add a link to a particular voucher, to show an unordered list of all your vouchers, or to show the registration for to request a restricted voucher.</p>
<p>You can require visitors to provide their name and email address to get a voucher. If an email address is required an email is sent to the address with a link to the voucher URL. Each voucher has a unique code, and vouchers that have an email address associated with them can only be used once, so once a registration-required voucher is downloaded it can’t be downloaded again.</p>
<h3>Hooks</h3>
<p>From version 1.1.2 the plugin also offers a selection of hooks which you can use to run your own custom code. The hooks are:</p>
<h3>voucherpress_create</h3>
<p>When a voucher is created, this hook returns the properties of the voucher. You can use it like this:</p>

<p>When someone registers to download a voucher and an email is sent to them, this hook returns the voucher and the users details. You can use it like this:</p>

<h3>voucherpress_download</h3>
<p>When someone downloads a voucher, this hook returns the voucher and the users details. You can use it like this:</p>

<p>The plugin also makes use of the __() function to allow for easy translation.</p>

<h3>Shortcodes</h3>
<p>There are four shortcodes available. The first shows a link to a particular voucher, and is in the format:</p>
<p>[voucher id=”123″]</p>
<p>The “id” parameter is the unique ID of the voucher. The correct ID to use is available in the screen where you edit the voucher.</p>
<p>You can also how the description after the link:</p>
<p>[voucher id=”123″ description=”true”]</p>
<p>The second shows a link to a voucher, but with a preview of the voucher (just the background image, no text) and the voucher name as the image alternate text:</p>

<p>And you can show the description after the preview as well:</p>

<p>You can also show an unordered list of all your live vouchers using this shortcode:</p>

<p>And you can also show the form for people to enter their name and email address if they wish to register for a restricted voucher:</p>

<p>The shortcodes for any voucher can be found on the edit screen for that voucher. Just click the ‘Shortcodes’ button.</p>


VoucherPress

VoucherPress is a Wordpress plugin that allows you to give downloadable, printable vouchers/coupons in PDF format away on your site.

<p>With this plugin, you can easily integrate data from your <a href="https://recras.nl/" rel="nofollow ugc">Recras</a> instance, such as packages and contact forms, into your own website.</p>
<p>To get started, go to the Recras <span aria-hidden="true" class="wp-exclude-emoji">→</span> Settings page and enter your Recras domain. For example, if you log in to Recras at <code>https://mycompany.recras.com/</code> then enter <code>mycompany.recras.com</code>. That’s all there is to it! You can now use widgets to retrieve data. All data is retrieved via a secured connection (HTTPS) to ensure data integrity. Other than the request parameters, no data is sent to the Recras servers.</p>
<p>This plugin consists of the following “widgets”. To use them, you first need to set your Recras domain (see paragraph above).<br />
* Book processes<br />
* Contact forms<br />
* Packages<br />
* Products<br />
* Voucher info</p>
<p>Widgets can be added to your site in three ways. Using Gutenberg blocks (recommended), using the buttons in the “classic editor” (limited functionality), or by entering the shortcode manually (discouraged).</p>
<h4>Date picker for contact forms</h4>
<p>By default, date pickers in contact forms use the browser date picker. If you want to be able to style the date picker, we recommend to enable the date picker we have included with the plugin. You can enable this on the Recras <span aria-hidden="true" class="wp-exclude-emoji">→</span> Settings page.</p>
<p><strong>Note</strong>: this setting only applies to standalone contact forms, not to contact forms used in the old online booking of packages integration or in book processes.</p>
<h4>Styling</h4>
<p>No custom styling is applied by default, so it will integrate with your site easily. If you want to apply custom styling, see <code>css/style.css</code> for all available classes. Be sure to include these styles in your own theme, this stylesheet is not loaded by the plugin!<br />
For styling the date picker, we refer you to the <a href="https://github.com/Pikaday/Pikaday" rel="nofollow ugc">Pikaday repository</a>. Be sure to make any changes in your own theme or using WordPress’ own Customizer.</p>
<h4>Cache</h4>
<p>All data from your Recras is cached for up to 24 hours. If you make important changes, such as increasing the price of a product, you can clear the cache to reflect those changes on your site immediately.</p>
<h4>Google Analytics integration</h4>
<p>You can enable basic Google Analytics integration for the booking of packages and voucher sales by checking “Enable Google Analytics integration?” on the Recras Settings page. This will only work if there is a global <code>ga</code> JavaScript object. This should almost always be the case, but if you find out it doesn’t work, please contact us!</p>
