The smarter way to handle age-restricted sales online

Age Verification Manager gives WooCommerce stores a flexible, privacy-friendly age gate that appears only where you need it — product pages, categories, checkout, or site-wide. You control when to challenge shoppers and how they verify.

What it does

With this extension, you can:

Comply with regulations: Enforce minimum age requirements for alcohol, vape, supplements, knives, and more.

Choose verification method: Quick self-confirmation or precise date-of-birth input.

Target where it shows: Site entry, restricted product/category/tag/brand pages, add-to-cart, checkout, and specific posts/pages.

Remember verified users: Signed cookie and user meta (for logged-in customers) prevents repeat prompts across sessions.

Force re-verification: Bump the Policy Version to re-challenge everyone after legal or policy changes.

Operate privacy-first: Consent-aware mode respects your CMP and keeps all data on your site—no third-party services.

Audit with confidence: Built-in logs, CSV export, and WP-CLI tools for reporting and compliance reviews.

Design to match your brand: Multiple preset templates (Tailwind, Flowbite, and more) with customizable colors, fonts, and overlays.

Why choose this extension vs other options?

Granular control: Most extensions offer a single, generic popup. Age Verification Manager lets you set rules per product, category, page, or checkout.

Compliance-first architecture: Hashed IPs, privacy exporter/eraser, consent-aware mode, and detailed logs.

Native WooCommerce integration: Hooks into add-to-cart and checkout validation so restricted items can’t slip through.

Performance-minded: Lightweight, only loads when needed, and built for modern WordPress/WooCommerce versions.

Developer-friendly: Filters, actions, REST endpoints, and WP-CLI commands for scalable operations.

What others are saying

Thousands of WooCommerce stores rely on AVM to sell responsibly.

4.9/5 average rating from store owners.
