<h2>How to Create a Reward Rule: Step-by-Step Guide</h2>
First Purchase Reward for WooCommerce allows store owners to create customized reward rules to encourage first-time buyers. To set up a reward, navigate to the WooCommerce menu in your WordPress dashboard and select ‘All Reward Rules.’ From there, you can add a new rule and configure conditions based on specific customer actions, such as placing their first order, purchasing selected products, or reaching a spending milestone. This plugin offers various options like first purchase discount WooCommerce and WooCommerce first order coupon to tailor the reward system for your store.

<h2>Reward Listing</h2>
The Reward Rules listing page in WooCommerce provides an overview of all configured reward rules. Each rule is displayed in a tabular format with the following columns:
<ul class="wccom-tick-list-primary">
<li>Rule Name: The title of the reward rule.</li>
<li>Rule Status: Indicates whether the rule is active or inactive.</li>
<li>Rule Type: Specifies the type of reward, such as a fixed discount or a percentage discount.</li>
<li>Applied On: Shows where the rule is applicable, such as specific products or the entire shop.</li>
<li>Applied on Roles: Lists the user roles eligible for the reward, such as Administrator, Editor, Author, etc.</li>
<li>Date: Displays the publication date and time of the rule.</li>
</ul>
<img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-18734004998021" style="border: 2px solid #ccc" src="https://woocommerce.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/reward-listing.png?w=896" alt="First Purchase discount rule listing" width="896" height="597" />
<h2>Frontend Display of Applied Rules</h2>
Based on the configured reward rules, if notification messages are enabled for the shop page, customers will see a message displaying the actual price, the discount amount, and the final price after the discount. Additionally, if the top and bottom notification bars are enabled, they will also be displayed with custom messages set by the admin. These notifications highlight available discounts and promotional offers, such as the first purchase discount WooCommerce, encouraging customers to make a purchase. The admin can fully customize these messages from the settings to align with their branding and marketing strategy.
<img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-18734004998085" style="border: 2px solid #ccc" src="https://woocommerce.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/shop-without-flash.png?w=896" alt="First Purchase Reward for WooCommerce Notification on Shop" width="896" height="544" />
<h2>Flash Notification Display on Shop Page and Product Page</h2>
Flash notifications are dynamic messages that briefly appear on the shop page and product pages to highlight discounts, rewards, or special offers. These notifications automatically disappear after a few seconds, creating a sense of urgency and encouraging customers to act quickly. The admin can fully customize the flash message, set the display duration in seconds, and upload a custom flash image through the plugin settings. This ensures a visually engaging, time-sensitive notification system that helps drive conversions and promote first-time purchase rewards, such as the first purchase reward plugin WooCommerce.

<h2>How Product Variation Prices Work with the First Purchase Reward Plugin</h2>
For variable products, the First Purchase Reward Plugin initially displays the lowest possible price in the notification before the user selects any variation. Once a variation is selected, the notification dynamically updates in real-time to reflect the selected variation’s actual price, the discount amount, and the final price. This interactive pricing display helps users understand how discounts, such as the first purchase discount WooCommerce, are applied based on their product selections, ensuring a seamless and engaging shopping experience.
