Start selling physical gift cards to your customers

Attract new customers with gift cards. Increase your profits.

In Product Data, go to Gift Card Product Tab and select “Make this product a Gift Card”
You can do a Simple Product with one price or Variable Product with variable pricing for multiple Coupon Code values
The price you set for this product becomes the value of the Coupon Code after purchase

WP Admin > Order Details

You can see the automatically generated Coupon Codes in WP Admin -> Order Details

3. How to ship the Gift Card’s Coupon Code

Coupon Codes visible to customer (optional)

If you selected the option “Make purchased Coupon Code(s) visible for customer”, purchased Coupon Codes are visible to the customer immediately. If you selected this option later on, this will apply to all previous orders and make the Coupon Codes visible to customers who purchased them.

Coupon Codes hidden from the customer – Manual Shipping

If you want to ship physical, printed Gift Cards to the customer, do not select the option “Make purchased Coupon Code(s) visible for customer”. In this case, go from WP Admin -> Orders -> Order Details, copy the purchased Coupon Codes into any design template you’re using, print the physical Gift Card and ship it to the customer.

Final Notes

Please note that this plugin uses the default WooCommerce coupon functionality. Make sure coupons are enabled in your WooCommerce settings.

Purchased Coupons are for one-time use only. This means, for example, if a customer uses a $50 coupon on a $40 purchase, the remaining $10 on the coupon is no longer claimable, and the coupon is void after its first use. There’s no customer store credit.

Customers love Gift Cards. They’re popular because they give an easy and elegant way to give a gift to someone they care about.

Include WooCommerce Gift Cards in your product listings to increase your revenue.

Gift Card Product

Simple and lightweight plugin to turn any Product into a Physical Gift Card. When purchased by a customer, it will generate a WooCommerce coupon code.

Always sell the right products together

Force Sells for WooCommerce ensures required items, services, or fees are added with the main product automatically. That means fewer missed parts, fewer confused customers, and cleaner orders. Use it when certain items aren’t optional, when compliance requires an add‑on, or when you want to remove decision friction at the cart.

Why this matters

Customers often overlook essentials and support teams chase corrections later. Force Sells prevents lost revenue, avoids re‑shipping missing parts, and keeps checkout simple. Shoppers get everything they need in one step, and your operations stay tidy.

Who it’s for

Force Sells is designed for merchants who need certain products and services purchased together every time. It’s ideal when items can’t stand alone, when bundling protects margins, or when you want to remove guesswork for customers. Here’s a list of examples:

Repair services: add required parts (e.g., replacement glass with iPad screen repair) so jobs are complete and margins are protected.

Bike shops: include an installation fee with custom wheels/components so labor is always covered.

Cosmetics brands: include a reusable pump with the first purchase of a refillable product to ensure product usability.

SaaS or digital products: link a one‑time setup/onboarding fee to a subscription to reflect true delivery cost.

Pet stores: bundle a starter kit with the first aquarium to reduce returns and support tickets.

Training providers: attach course materials to each class registration so learners have what they need day one.

Two ways to link products

Normal force sell: products are added with the main item in matching quantity. Shoppers can remove or adjust them if needed.

Synced force sell: products are locked to the main item. They can’t be removed or edited separately; quantity and removal always follow the main product.

In the cart, synced items are clearly marked as “linked,” so customers understand why those items move together. This clarity reduces confusion and follow‑up support.

When to use Force Sells vs other options

Choose Force Sells when the extra item is required every time. If you want to offer optional add‑ons or flexible bundles, consider Grouped Products or Product Bundles instead. For a deeper comparison, see our guide to product grouping and bundling.
