<h3>Get paid in person with the M2 card reader</h3>
<ol>
<li>Add the M2 card reader to your cart and check out.</li>
<li>Download, install and activate the <a href="https://woocommerce.com/mobile/">Woo Mobile App</a> on your <a href="https://apps.apple.com/us/app/id1389130815">iOS</a> or <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.woocommerce.android">Android</a> device. If you’re already using the mobile app, make sure you’re using version 7.7 or higher. </li>
<li>If you don’t have WooPayments yet, you will also need to <a href="https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-payments/">install and activate the WooPayments extension</a> and follow the instructions for creating a new WooPayments account.</li>
<li>Once your M2 card reader arrives, follow the instructions in our <a href="https://woocommerce.com/document/payments/woocommerce-in-person-payments-quick-start-guide/">Quick Start Guide</a> to set it up and check out <a href="https://woocommerce.com/document/woopayments/in-person-payments/getting-started-with-in-person-payments/"> for additional support.</a></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400">Use the mobile app to create a quick order so your inventory syncs to your online store. Click on the Orders tab in your app and the ‘+’ button, then click on “Create order” to start a new manual order. </li>
<li style="font-weight: 400">To collect custom payment amounts without inventory adjustment click on the Orders tab in your app and the ‘+’ button, then click on “Add Custom Payment” to add a custom amount. Perfect for instances when you need to collect amounts that are not in your inventory, such as at trade shows or craft fairs. </li>
<li style="font-weight: 400">For orders placed online for pickup in person, find the specific order in the Woo Mobile App.</li>
</ol>

<li>After you have created or opened the order, click on “Collect Payment”. Then swipe, tap, or insert the customer’s card – or use a digital wallet, like Apple Pay – to collect their payment. You’ll be able to print or email a receipt from the Woo Mobile App and view details of this transaction in your WooCommerce dashboard.</li>
