Automatically calculate price per unit

The functions of the Price per Unit PRO extension are essential, especially for shops selling food. It automates the tedious calculations of unit price for each product. It works with default product attributes like shipping weight and price and calculates the unit price.

It can also manage more complicated setups, like when you need to calculate the price per net weight, or need a different weight unit than the default unit set in WooCommerce. It also supports custom units and multiplies of units.

Unlike manual calculations, this extension doesn’t make mistakes, and the unit prices are always correct. And when it comes to repricing products, it does not need special attention because it’s all automatic.

Basic use

The most basic scenario is to display the price of one kilogram.

Different weights<

Sometimes you may want to use a weight different than the weight specified on the shipping tab. This is handy when you want a price per net weight while keeping gross weight for shipping.

Calculations for various units

Normally, the recalculation works per unit. However, it is possible to show the price for a different quantity. For example, a ton.

Custom units

Sometimes you want to use your own unit. You can use some pre-created units as boxes, or pieces, or create your own units.

Price per Unit PRO helps customers navigate the price of goods, which can increase conversions. It also helps European store owners conform to EU laws requiring shop owners to display unit prices for their food products.

Give your customers the options they want

Product Add-Ons is one of the most popular extensions available for WooCommerce. It gives you and your customers even more options, including (but definitely not limited to):

Image-based selections

A picture is worth a thousand words, so why describe a customer’s personalization options when you can show them? With image-based selections, customers can see what they’re getting before they buy.

Flat fees

Charge customers a flat fee regardless of how many products they ordered. Perfect for a one-time set-up charge or a rush fee.

Percentage fees

Charge a fee for the add-on based on a percent of the total price—this is especially useful for service-based add-ons that can be tougher to boil down to a flat fee.

Text input

Let your customers enter custom text to create a custom t-shirt, add a monogram or personalize a card.

Dropdown

Customer can choose between a few pre-defined options with a drop-down field for your add-on.

Checkboxes

Make customization as simple and satisfying as checking a checkbox. Great for add-on services, like gift wrapping or express shipping.

Custom price

Let your customers name their price, perfect for tips, donations, and gratuities!

Add-ons can be named, described, reordered, and (optionally) given prices.

The extension also works with:

WooCommerce Subscriptions – add additional options to subscription products.

WooCommerce Bookings – offer upgrades like an oil treatment for a massage, priority seats for their tour or a rush fee for their rental.

Once set up, add-ons appear on product pages just above the add to cart button.
