<h2>Key Features of Store Credits & Gift Cards</h2>
<h3>Create Gift Cards </h3>

Enable customers to purchase and send digital gift cards directly from your store. Customers can use gift cards for personal shopping or gift them to friends or family, making them a flexible and popular choice. Once redeemed, these cards function as credits in the store, which can be applied at checkout.
<h3>Issue Store Credits </h3>
<img class="aligncenter wp-image-18734004605246 size-full" src="https://woocommerce.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/issue_store_credits.webp" alt="issue store credits" width="1792" height="1100" />
Store credits work like reusable coupons that customers can purchase or receive as a refund. This flexible system allows customers to use credits for future purchases, creating an incentive for them to return and complete additional transactions in your store. Admins can also manually add store credits for specific users, providing an easy way to handle special promotions or account adjustments.
<h3>Credit Log Management </h3>
<img class="aligncenter wp-image-18734004605378 size-full" title="credit_log_management" src="https://woocommerce.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/credit_log_management.webp" alt="store credits log management" width="1792" height="1100" />
Track and manage credits with a dedicated credit log. The gift card plugin keeps a record of credit activity, giving you transparency over store credit usage and helping you manage your promotional strategies effectively. The log lets you monitor customer engagement, making it easy to adjust marketing efforts to encourage the use of gift cards and store credits.
<h3>Store Credit as Coupons </h3>
<img class="aligncenter wp-image-18734004605384 size-full" src="https://woocommerce.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/store_credit_as_coupons.webp" alt="store credits as coupons" width="1792" height="1100" />
Store credits can function as unique coupons that are easily distributed and redeemed. These credits work like digital gift cards, and admins can create, assign, and manage them for individual customers, adding flexibility to customer loyalty programs and ensuring credit can be used as a universal discount option across the store.
<h3>Admin Control Over Credit Balances </h3>
<img class="aligncenter wp-image-18734004605389 size-full" src="https://woocommerce.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/admin_control_over_credit_balances.webp" alt="admin control over Store Credits & Gift Cards balances" width="1792" height="1100" />
Manage customer store credits directly through the WordPress admin dashboard. Store credits can be modified for each customer as necessary, providing the flexibility to adjust balances for special cases, refunds, or rewards. This helps streamline customer service and ensures every credit balance aligns with your store’s promotional and refund policies.
<h3>Refund with Gift Cards or Store Credits </h3>
<img class="aligncenter wp-image-18734004605401 size-full" src="https://woocommerce.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/refund_with_gift_cards_or_store_credits.webp" alt="Refund With Store Credits & Gift Cards" width="1792" height="1100" />
When refunds are needed, admins can offer them as store credits or gift cards. This feature provides a customer-friendly alternative to cash refunds and incentivizes customers to keep shopping with your brand. Refunds issued this way are recorded, giving customers a smooth experience while retaining funds within the store ecosystem.

Store Credit & Gift Card on Shipping and Tax
Allow customers to apply store credits and gift card amounts toward shipping charges, tax, or both at checkout. Admins can enable these options independently, giving customers more value from their credits and reducing checkout friction.
