Icons are set under Appearance > Menus.

<li>Simply create a custom menu, add custom links to it, add the desired platform name to each link’s respective Navigation Label (Facebook, Twitter, etc.), assign the menu to the SimpleSocial location, and use the shortcode <code>[simplesocial]</code> in any Page, Post, or Text Widget</li>
<li>You can drag and drop icon menu items in any order you like (just like any normal WordPress menu)</li>
<li>You can set the universal icon size and color under Settings > SimpleSocial</li>

With the additions of X, TikTok, and a new tutorial video, I think it's ready for new users in 2024. I would have given it a 4-star review prior to this update. This is the first time I've ever left a review for one of my own projects, but I think this is a rare case where it's actually necessary.
