I had already used other plugins, but this one is by far the best. Even in the free version, it speeds up the site a lot. I always upload my already optimized images and installing the plugin in the free version, it improved by at least 50% converting the images to WebP.



After I saw these advantages, I purchased the PRO version, which improved the weight of the images even more (at leastleast 30% by converting images from WebP to AVIF).

Appreciation Post


The plugin is titled "Converter for Media - Optimize images | Convert WebP & AVIF", except it doesn't actually convert images to AVIF.  That's a paid only feature.  I have not problem with freemium plugins, but you shouldn't be putting plugins in the .org directory with misleading titles and descriptions claiming to do things they can't without paying for a different version.


Doesn't do what it says


It's the easiest solution for converting images to webp I ever saw. Great job.I had some pics that didn't convert to webp, but I then used a online-converter to fix the "worst misses". Then the plugins solution for filestorage is very easy to understand and a manual replace of not converted files is quite easily done.

Thank you very much for creating this plugin and I am happy that someone was able to produce a plugin for WordPress with such attention to detail that works perfectly in all respects. Unlike other plugins, if there is an error on the side of the host or server, it shows and it is well organized both in coding and in producing images and saving in a folder outside the main folder of images, which makes the plugin the best because it causes The main folders are not dumped.
