Many of these SEO plug-ins are heavy and clutter up the dashboard in a flashy way, but I like this plug-in because its behavior can be fine-tuned and made unobtrusive.



It would be great if there was an option to store it in the settings instead of sitting in the sidebar.

The last ±10 years I used Yoast SEO (free version) for all the websites I manage (±200). Yoast is still good, but for now SEOPress is a much better solution:- More (free) features- It doesn't slow down your WP Dashboard- The Premium version is very affordable (if you need to use it)
