<p>Install wpMandrill first! 🙂 I use this in my personal localhost development flow, to allow emails to be sent out from a local install. Thought I\’d share it with you and make it an easy install for developers.</p>
<p>If you use this, let me know!!!</p>
<p>Basically, make sure the wpMandrill plug is installed, setup, and running on your local install, however, the plugin will do nothing if wpMandrill is not installed. 😉</p>
<p>Add this plug-in, go find it in the SETTINGS section of your WP install and config it.</p>
<p>This plug in will not reroute other plugs, like Mailpoet, that use their own mail handling or SMTP intercepts.</p>
<p>It works great for things like normal WordPress emails (password reminders, new users, etc,) Woocommerce, or anything that uses wp_mail to send.</p>


WP Reroute Mandrill

I've used an alternate plugin for rerouting mail forever but it always lets me down when it comes to Mandrill. As is always the case in the Wordpress world: Ask and ye sha'll receive!
Hooray! Now I can test my Mandrill-enhanced applications without fear of unintended mail going out to users.

Reroutes All Mail going through the wpMandrill Plugin to email address(s) of your choice.

<h4>Environment Indicator</h4>
<p>This plugin will help you to keep sane while working on your different environments by adding a configurable color bar to each one of your environments.<br />
The Environment Indicator adds a coloured bar on the site informing you which environment you’re currently in (Development, Staging, Production, etc.).<br />
This is incredibly useful if you have multiple environments for each of your sites.</p>
<h4>Email redirect</h4>
<p>This plugin is a great way to ensure that your users do not receive any emails while you are working on your WordPress environment.<br />
It will automatically redirect all outgoing emails until you are done with your work and are ready for emails to be sent out as normal.<br />
This will help save you from any accidental notifications or emails being sent out to your users from your Development or Staging environment, allowing you to work without any issues.</p>

<h3>Getting Started</h3>

<li>Once Plugin has been installed and activated</li>
<li>Navigate to Settings -> Environment indicator and Email redirect</li>
<li>Select the Tab for the setting you wish to modify</li>
<li>Select the environment that you are on to modify the color of the admin bar</li>
<li>Turn on Email Redirect if you wish</li>
<li>Add the email that you wish all your outgoing emails to be redirected to</li>
