<p>Writing a post with footnotes has never been easier and cleaner before. All you need to do is anchor a footnote at any point and then write it on the end of the paragraph or wherever it fits you.</p>
<p><strong>Usage</strong></p>
<p>To anchor a footnote use the {{FOOTNOTE_NUMBER}}. Then to write the body of it you need to embrace it with [[FOOTNOTE_NUMBER]]. Here is an example:</p>

tempor incidunt ut labore et dolore magna ali quarn erat volupat.{{1}}<br />
venian, quis nostrud exerci tation ullamcorper{{2}} suscipit laboris<br />
commodo consequat. Duis autem vel eum irure dolore</p>
<p>[[1]]This is the first footnote.[[1]]<br />
[[2]]This is the second footnote.[[2]]</p>
<p>This is the next paragraph. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, con sectetuer<br />
adipiscing elit, sed diam nonnumy nibh euismod tempor incidunt ut<br />
labore et dolore magna ali quarn erat volupat. Ut wisi enim ad minim.<br />

<p>When the document is parsed, the footnotes that are between paragraphs will be removed from where they are and placed at the end of the document. The {{1}} will be replaced with an anchor link to the footnote. The footnotes will be a list having and anchor link back to the place the text has it. Here is what roughly the above text will look like after parsing:</p>

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, con sectetuer adipiscing elit, sed diam<br />

<h3>How to use</h3>
<h3>Creating In-Text Citations</h3>

<li>Navigate to the Posts section of your WordPress dashboard.</li>
<li>Click on the Add New button to create a new post, or select an existing post where you want to add citations.</li>
<li>Type your content into the WordPress Block Editor.</li>
<li>To add a citation, first highlight the text that you want to cite.</li>
<li>With the text still highlighted, find and click on the “Cite” format from the rich text format toolbar.</li>
<li>A pop-up will appear asking you to define your source. Input the source information into the fields provided.</li>
</ol>
<h3>Adding a Bibliography Block</h3>
<ol>
<li>Click on the + icon in the editor toolbar to add a new block to your post.</li>
<li>Search for “Bibliography” in the block search bar.</li>
<li>Click on the Bibliography block to add it to your post.</li>
<li>The Bibliography block will automatically populate with the sources of all the in-text citations you’ve added to your post. Each citation in the text is linked to its corresponding source in the bibliography, allowing readers to easily check your references.</li>
</ol>
<h3>Editing Citations and Sources</h3>
<ol>
<li>To edit a citation or source, click on the citation in the text.</li>
<li>Make the necessary changes in the pop-up that appears.</li>
<li>Click on Save or Update to apply your changes.</li>
</ol>
<h3>Using the Demo-Pattern</h3>
<ol>
<li>Click on the + icon in the editor toolbar to add a new pattern to your post.</li>
<li>Search for “Citations Demo” in the pattern search bar.</li>
<li>Click on the “Citations Demo” pattern to add it to your post.</li>
<li>A few lines of filler text with pre-defined citations and a bibliography block will appear in your post content.</li>
