Installation
- Copy the
acf-field-date-selectorfolder into yourwp-content/pluginsfolder - Activate the Advanced Custom Fields: Date Selector Field plugin via the plugins admin page
- Create a new field via ACF and select Date Selector Field type under the jQuery section
- Read the description above for usage instructions

A good alternative to the clumsy date picker
This was the perfect starting point for me to implement into a project. Saved a lot of time. For my clients use case we wanted to record dates of birth but the date picker calendar was confusing for users, and fiddly on mobile. This is a much cleaner solution.
