Important: To use this plugin you must sign up at AttorneyConnect.ai and obtain a Website Code. The code connects your WordPress site to your AttorneyConnect account. Without it, the chat feature cannot function.

Service and Data Disclosure

This plugin acts as a client for the AttorneyConnect AI service.
When enabled, it establishes a WebSocket/HTTPS connection to AttorneyConnect servers in order to deliver chat functionality.

* https://apis.stage.attorneyconnect.ai (staging)
* https://apis.dev.attorneyconnect.ai (development)

No chat or lead functionality can operate without contacting these endpoints.

What’s Sent
* Your Website Code (provided when you sign up at AttorneyConnect.ai), which identifies your account.
* Chat session messages and metadata necessary for operation of the receptionist service.

What’s Required
* An active AttorneyConnect account.
* A valid Website Code entered in the plugin settings.

By activating this plugin you are connecting your site to the AttorneyConnect service. If you do not have an account or do not wish your site to communicate with AttorneyConnect servers, do not enable the plugin.

1. Sign up at AttorneyConnect.ai to obtain your Website Code.
2. Upload the plugin zip via Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, or copy to /wp-content/plugins/attorneyconnect-ai/.
3. Activate the plugin.
4. Go to Settings → AttorneyConnect and enter your Website Code, then configure:
   • Widget bar placement
   • Colors and text color
   • Buttons (Call / Message / Title)
   • Floating chat button
   • Engagement time (auto-open delay)

Optional: Add class open-attorneyconnect to any button/link to open chat from your site UI.
