Installation

  1. Upload boardgamegeekinfos directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Insert shortcode [bgg id=GAMEID] inside your content. Grab ID game from game url on boardgamegeek.com. Example: http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/94731/heroica-fortaan id is 94731

It works

It works as described. The plugin does not allow one to access specific parts of the BGG API, or customize the output. Or ingest the input into wordpress custom fields for further manipulation in via wordpress, But the plug-in works as described.
