Description
Automatically join new and existing BuddyPress members to Groups of your choice. Optionally determine which group to join based on Member Type, using our BuddyPress Member Types plugin.

BP Auto Group Join is built by the experienced developers at BuddyBoss who also offer premium BuddyPress themes and plugins to build your social network.
Installation
From your WordPress dashboard
- Make sure BuddyPress (and BuddyPress Groups) are activated.
- Visit ‘Plugins > Add New’
- Search for ‘BP Auto Group Join’
- Activate BP Auto Group Join from your Plugins page.
From WordPress.org
- Make sure BuddyPress (and BuddyPress Groups) are activated.
- Download BP Auto Group Join.
- Upload the ‘bp-auto-group-join.zip’ file to your ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory, using your favorite method (ftp, sftp, etc…)
- Activate BP Auto Group Join from your Plugins page.
Configuration
- Visit ‘BuddyBoss > Auto Group Join’ for options and support.
- Edit any BuddyPress group from the admin to select auto-join options.
- Optionally configure Member Types using our BuddyPress Member Types plugin.
