Chord Connect

1. Go to your personalized Chord Connect URL.
   1. Click on the ‘Connect’ Tab on the right panel.
   2. Enter in one or more guests.

For each guest you can:

“Invite by Mobile” in which case they will receive an invite via SMS text.
“Invite by Email” in which case they will receive an invite via email.
Click the green phone icon to join the meeting and wait for guests to arrive.

1. Go to your personalized Chord Connect URL.
   1. Click on the ‘Settings’ Tab on the right panel and
      make sure “Open Room” is selected.
   2. Simply send your personalized Chord Connect URL via
      email, text, calendar invite.
   3. Click the green phone icon to join the meeting and
      wait for guests to arrive.

You can send text messages to any individual in a room or to the whole group.
Within your room, click the Chat icon on the bottom left corner.
Select an individual to send a private message or “everyone” to message all of the participants.

• There are four main access controls for your room. You will see an indicator at the top of the screen to show whether the room is open or closed.

Open Room
Any visitor who lands on your page will immediately join the Meeting. You do not have to be available or even present for them to do so.

Open Room with PIN
Visitors will have to verify themselves via a PIN. Once they have verified themselves, they will immediately join the Meeting. You do not have to be available or even present for them to do so.

Closed Room
If you are available, visitors who land on your page will have to “call” you in order to be accepted into the Meeting. If you are unavailable or away, they have the option to leave you a message.

Visitors will have to verify themselves via a PIN. Once they have verified themselves, and you are available, they can “call” you in order to be accepted into the Meeting. If you are unavailable or away, they have the option to leave you a message.

• You can mute or unmute yourself at any time by clicking the microphone icon next to your avatar or at the bottom of the screen.
• You can also adjust any audio settings, such as choosing which microphone you want to use, by clicking the up arrow to the left of the microphone icon on the bottom of the screen.

• You can turn on or off your web camera at any time by clicking the camera icon next to your avatar or at the bottom of the screen.
• You can also adjust any video settings, such as choosing which camera you want to use, by clicking the up arrow to the right of the camera icon on the bottom of the screen.

• If one or more participants is in the room any guest can share their screen, by clicking the “Share Screen” icon on the bottom left.
• A window will pop up asking you which screen to share.
• If you have multiple monitors you can choose to share which monitor you want to share.
• Or you can share a specific window such as a browser window or an application
• While sharing your screen a small bar will show reminding you that you are sharing your screen. You can stop sharing at any time by clicking the “Stop Sharing” button.

There must be at least two participants in a room for these icons to appear.

1. If one or more participants is in the room any guest
   can share a video (from YouTube or Vimeo), by
   clicking the “Video” icon on the bottom left.
   1. A window will pop up where you can paste the YouTube
      or Vimeo URL. Then click “Share”.
   2. Once the video is shared you can control the video
      using all of the video’s normal control (Play, Pause,
      etc.)

To stop sharing the video, just click the green “Stop Video” icon on the bottom left.

1. Click the “Chat” icon on the bottom left.
   1. Choose whether the person you want to send a private
      message to or click “Everyone” to send a public message to the whole group.

You can close the chat window by clicking the green icon on the bottom left.
