Description

Comments On is a plugin that adds a column to the “All Posts” or “All Pages” view in the Admin dashboard. The column will display one of three options for the related post/page: “open”, “closed” or “registered_only”.

Now, quickly and easily, without having to click “Quick Edit” or “Edit” for each post you can find out which posts/pages can accept comments and which can’t.

It is an ideal companion for the Comment count column alerting you to content that hasn’t any comments. Or it can highlight any posts/pages that might not be enabled for comments.

Installation

This section describes how to install the Comments On plugin and get it working.

  1. Upload and unzip comments-on.zip to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the Comments On plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. View the All Posts/All Pages screen to see the Comments On column

After checking that the plugin is enabled, be sure to click Screen Options if you don’t immediately see the column and ensure “Comments On” has a checkmark next to it

Comments are not showing even though I can see that the Comments On column shows “open”
