Consentify Script

This plugin allows you to easily load and initialize the Consentify consent banner service on your website by adding your public token. The script is loaded from Consentify’s servers and manages cookie consent display and logic on your site.

You must have a valid Consentify public token, which can be obtained from your Consentify account dashboard.

External Services

This plugin connects to an external third-party service provided by Consentify https://www.consentify.app.

What is used for:
To load and run the Consentify cookie consent script which displays the consent interface and manages consent behavior.

What data is sent and when:
When your site loads, WordPress requests the Consentify JavaScript file from:
https://consentify.app/api/consent?token=YOUR_TOKEN
The public token you enter in the plugin settings is included in the request URL.
No other data is sent directly from the plugin. The external script may perform additional communication depending on Consentify’s implementation.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Consentify complies with applicable privacy and data protection laws.

1. Upload the plugin to /wp-content/plugins/.
2. Activate the plugin via Plugins in WordPress.
3. Go to Settings → Consentify Script and enter your public token.
4. Save and verify that the banner displays correctly.
