Description
Core A11Y – Accessibility for Elementor is an add-on for sites using the Elementor page builder that adds additional options inside of Elementor’s site settings and widget controls to help fix accessibility issues. This plugin is meant to empower Elementor users to be more proactive in editing basic accessibility problems such as missing focus states.
Site Settings
Inside the global site settings, you can set global styles for :focus-visible states in the following sections:
- Buttons
- Form Fields
- Typography
Widgets
And inside individual widgets, you can override the global :focus-visible settings when needed, as well as adjust for other widgets not in the global settings.

Additional Information
This plugin will not fix every and all accesibility issues your Elementor site may have – it will only help you adjust the features mentioned above.

Installation
- Download the
core-a11y-for-elementor.zipfile. - Navigate to Plugins > Add New and select the zip file to upload.
- Activate the plugin after it finishes installing.
- You will now begin to see the new settings in the Elementor site settings and widgets.
Frequently Asked Questions
This plugin only requires you use the free version of Elementor. You can still use this plugin if you have Elementor Pro too.
This is only a tool to help you resolve basic compliance issues coming from Elementor. You will still need to perform proper testing and scanning of your site to check for other issues and resolve them. If you find any issues from Elementor our plugin does not resolve, feel free to post in the support forums here and we can consider adding in new features from your request.
