Description

This plugin creates a floating button with a link to a read more page (which you have to create yourself), meant for COVID-19 information. You can choose from different icons and set the colors, text, link and position of the button (including offset) in the WordPress backend. It is aimed to be simple and lightweight.

Installation

Using The WordPress Dashboard

  1. Navigate to the ‘Add New’ in the plugins dashboard
  2. Search for ‘COVID-19 Float Button’
  3. Click ‘Install Now’
  4. Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard

Uploading in WordPress Dashboard

  1. Navigate to the ‘Add New’ in the plugins dashboard
  2. Navigate to the ‘Upload’ area
  3. Select covid-float-button.zip from your computer
  4. Click ‘Install Now’
  5. Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard

Using FTP

  1. Download covid-float-button.zip
  2. Extract the covid-float-button directory to your computer
  3. Upload the covid-float-button directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  4. Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard
