Installation
- Download and extract the plugin files.
- Upload the entire
custom-link-click-trackerfolder to the/wp-content/plugins/directory. - Activate the plugin through the “Plugins” menu in WordPress.
- Go to “Settings” > “Link Click Tracker” to configure your target URL prefix.
- Clicks on links with the specified prefix will now be tracked automatically.
Frequently Asked Questions
Currently, the plugin allows tracking for a single prefix. If you want to track multiple prefixes, you may modify the code or extend the plugin as needed.
You can view tracked clicks in the WordPress admin under the “Link Click Tracker” menu. The data table shows tracked clicks, which can be sorted by columns and filtered by date.
Deactivating and deleting the plugin will also remove its database table and settings.
