Display your business’s Google Reviews anywhere on your WordPress site using the [customview_reviews] shortcode.
Configure the plugin under Settings > CustomView to set your Google API Key, Place ID, maximum number of reviews, minimum star rating, and theme mode (light, dark, or auto).

This plugin connects to the Google Places API to retrieve and display Google Reviews.

Service: Google Places API
Purpose: Fetches public review data for display using the [customview_reviews] shortcode.
Data Sent: Only the user-supplied Place ID and API key are sent when retrieving reviews. This happens when the cache expires (every 6 hours) or is manually refreshed.

Installation

  1. Upload the plugin to /wp-content/plugins/customview-display-reviews-your-way-for-google-reviews, or install it through the WordPress Plugins screen.
