Installation

The easiest way to install Invitations and RSVPs is via your WordPress Dashboard. Go to the “Plugins” screen, click “Add New”, and search for “Invitations and RSVPs” in the WordPress Plugin Directory. Then, click “Install Now” and wait a moment. Finally, click “Activate” and start using the plugin!

Manual installation works just as for other WordPress plugins:

  1. Download and extract the ZIP file.
  2. Move the folder “cwsi-invites” to the “wp-content/plugins/” directory of your WordPress installation, e.g. via FTP.
  3. Activate the plugin “Invitations and RSVPs” on the “Plugins” screen of your WordPress Dashboard.
  4. Create a page for players to review and submit their numbers. Add the shortcode [cwsiInviteAnswerForm]
  5. Use the shortcode [cwsiInviteShowResponses] if you would like to display invitees and their responses so far, including comments.
  6. Review the submitted items in the WordPress admin area.

My test emails do not send?

Sending email from a WordPress website can be difficult. Ensure your webhost is configured to support PHP mail. Consider installing a plugin like WP Mail SMTP to set up SMTP email and to test that emails are sent correctly.
