Default Checked Link

The default link functionality is to open on the same browser page. If you want the link to be opened in a new page, you need to create the link and then enable the check box. This can be quite annoying when you always want the link to open in a new window.

This plugin enables the check box to be ticked by default so that a link always opens in a new window every time you insert/edit link.

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.

e.g.

1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/default-new-window-link-opener directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
